In our opinion, it's a wonderful base for travelling to Edinburgh.

The bathroom here is unclean.

Comfortable bed in a cosy room, plus a TV 🛋️.

It was perfect in general: cosy room, magnificent location right by bars/restaurants as well as Edinburgh. Didn't feel like leaving, I had a brilliant time and would have extended the stay.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, so central, private, and safe. The apartment blew us away with its incredible spaciousness and light-filled rooms. The character and charm of the place were simply jaw-dropping, and the breathtaking views of Edinburgh Castle from three bedrooms left us speechless. The photos don't do justice to its size. A fantastic staycation experience, highly recommended for anyone. The owner/manager was incredibly welcoming, flexible, and super helpful, which was greatly appreciated due to our early morning flight.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable with down pillows. I truly enjoyed the Jacuzzi bathroom.- We could enjoy views of the castle.- Valentina made everything perfect for all of us.

The location of the residence is fantastic, with many restaurants, bars, and must-see locations nearby. One reviewer even mentioned being able to see the castle from the apartment. the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bedrooms are spacious. the fully equipped kitchen is clean and well-maintained.

The entrance hall and stairs are in need of cleaning and updating.

Excellent central location with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. Ideal for large families or groups of friends with lots of beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge and clean beddings and towels. Perfect for a stag party or a hen party.

Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The apartment was absolutely perfect for our group of 9 adults. the beds were comfortable, and the apartment itself was spacious and huge. the location couldn't have been better, right on the Royal Mile, close to the castle, and surrounded by bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. We were impressed with the little touches such as hair straighteners, hair dryers, extra towels, a smart TV, and wifi. It made our stay even more enjoyable.

We felt very at home and had no complaints at all.

Loved being in the heart of the city, with great attractions and Free WiFi at my fingertips. The apartment had everything I needed, including a washing machine for all those dirty clothes.

The public parking costs were just an absolute steal! So glad I got to spend my hard-earned money on that.

We had a fantastic stay at a centrally located residence with a view of the castle. the owner was responsive and we even had a friendly neighbor. Conveniently close to the train station, shopping, and a nearby shop for essentials. Lots of eating options, including Nando's. the apartment was exactly what we expected for our stag party, with comfortable beds, spacious bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Plus, the apartment was cozy and warm, which we loved.

Highly recommend George IV Residence for a great time in Edinburgh. Cons: Didn't dislike anything about the property.
